My husband uses Ebates and about a year ago he had a promo where he could get one box of Hello Fresh for half the price. We decided to try it out and see what we thought. We had previously tried Goodfood and we weren’t a fan. The prices were too high, the ingredients and food options not that great and the website complicated to use. So to say that I was skeptical about Hello Fresh is an understatement. But boy was I happy to be wrong!
I LOVE THE WEEKEND!
Sleeping in, doing what I want, spending more time with Cookie (cause honestly it’s never enough lol), and just relaxing. This weekend was a pretty good weekend. It was my birthday weekend, so hubby took me out for breakfast at one of my favorite breakfast spots: Ben & Florentine.
So I’ve been focusing a lot on doing things that make me happier lately. After I lost my sister a few years ago, I became incredibly depressed and just lost focus. It took me a long time to figure out how to be happy again. I had to make a lot of changes, some small, some big, but all worth it in the end. It took some time, A LOT of time (years actually), but I can honestly say that I’m in a much better place now then I have ever been in my life. So here’s a few tips that were really helpful for me and I hope will be helpful for you as well.
I love snow days!
Especially when they fall on a weekend so I don’t have to worry about commuting to work in the snow. Today was one of those days. What do I do on snow days at home? Well let me break it down for you.
Who doesn’t love Valentine’s Day?
It’s the most romantic day of the year! I know what you’re going to say, isn’t Valentine’s Day supposed to be celebrated every day of the year and not just one day? Yes! I completely agree! Showing your significant other that you love them should not only be reserved for one day, you should make them feel special and loved, every day! However, with our busy schedule, not every one can afford or has the time to go out or buy something for their significant other. I know that’s not the point of Valentine’s Day, but it is a great excuse to spoil your loved one with a little something.
Now who says that something has to expensive or over the top. I often prefer something that’s more a DIY because it comes from the heart and shows that the person put a lot of thought and time into it.
