I love snow days!
Especially when they fall on a weekend so I don’t have to worry about commuting to work in the snow. Today was one of those days. What do I do on snow days at home? Well let me break it down for you.
I woke up around 9:00, took a shower and got dressed. Since I’m staying home all day, figured I need to be as comfortable as one can get. Therefore, I put on my favorite at home outfit! I got the Leggings from Urban Planet on Boxing Day when they had a promotion of 2 for 10$. The sweater is also from Urban Planet and it was on sale for 5$. I’m absolutely in love with this sweater because it’s so comfortable and feels like I’m swimming in it.
I made myself a Herbalife Shake (special thanks to my Health Coach Samantha Berch for getting me back on track). Herbalife is great if you are looking to getting back in shape and losing some weight at the same time. I will be doing a post in a few weeks once I’m done with my two weeks challenge so make sure to look out for that.
I read a lot of articles on blogging.
Since I just launched this blog less than two weeks ago, I really want to make sure I’m on top of my game and understand everything there is to know about blogging. I had signed up to get a whole bunch of free e-books, articles and tutorials on blogging but didn’t have a chance to go through them all. So today I spent a good part of the day going through them all as well as some of my Pins I had pinned on Pinterest. Safe to say that I took a lot of notes and I’m feeling more confident now. I will also be posting something soon on all the best blogging tips I learned to break it down for anyone who is interested in blogging.
I took a walk with Cookie.
My little Cookie Monster LOVES the snow. He is definitely more a winter dog then a summer dog in my opinion. Which is great for us since we live in Canada and it’s pretty much winter half of they year. So when it started snowing, he kept looking outside the window and poor thing started crying to go out. Of course I will do anything for my little Prince so I dressed him up, put on my Uggs and winter coat, made sure I was all bundled up and took him out for a walk. He was very happy.
Happy Frenchie means Happy Frenchie Mom.
I did some reading. Honestly, snow days are great to snuggle up under the covers and grab a good book to read while watching the snow fall. This is one of my favorite things about winter. Drinking my coffee, reading and watching the snow fall. The book I started reading is really great if you need feel great about yourself and need some motivation.
